All of the good home décor/craft bloggers posted their Valentine’s projects a month ago.
I’m not one of those bloggers.
I decided at the last minute to throw together a little Valentine decoration. (Sort of like I decorated my porch for Halloween at the last minute.)
I was inspired by this Vintage Valentine wreath that I saw at Antiques Iowa. It was so cute – I decided to make my own!
I picked out a few cheap vintage valentines from different booths around the antique mall. The ones I bought were either 50 cents or $1.
Then, I cut out a simple cardboard wreath form.
And taped my Valentines into place.
So quick and easy, and I think it looks pretty cute in my (still unfinished) entryway!
You should probably pin this so that you remember to make one for next Valentine’s Day.
By the way – Antiques Iowa is having a Valentine’s Sale through Friday, February 14th! Open 7 days a week on I-35 in Story City, IA. Check it out and tell ‘em I sent you! (And there are still two Valentines Wreaths for sale there, and hundreds of vintage valentines! Wouldn’t that be a sweet treat for your love?)
