But, there are expenses associated with my blog and from time to time, I write blog posts that include affiliate links, I do sponsored reviews, or receive free product in exchange for a blog post.
I include a disclaimer in these types of blog posts at the beginning of the post, but I also have this full disclosure page to give you more information.
But you should know, not everything I recommend is because of a sponsored post, because it was a free product, or because I linked to an affiliate. I am dedicated to recommending only products that I love, that will improve the lives of my readers, whether I get a kickback or not.
Here are some specific programs I am part of that you should know about:
- I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com.
- I work part time for the Iowa Turkey Federation as a Communications Specialist. I maintain the www.iowaturkey.org website and do most of the social media. Opinions on my blog may or may not reflect those of the Iowa Turkey Federation. Blog posts about my farm are NOT reviewed or otherwise influenced by the federation.
- I also have ads on my sidebar. These are google ads, specialized for each reader based on their internet history and search history. I make a small amount of money off these ads based on how many users visit my site and how many visit the advertisers' sites.
If you have any questions, please ask. I'm an open book!
