Where did the day go? I meant to publish this blog post this morning, but it just didn’t happen. And now, it’s 6 pm!
But anyway, here are a few favorite things I ran across online this week:
1. This blog post about gestation crates on pig farms. Don’t know what gestation crates are? I don’t think Cher does either, but that didn’t stop her from tweeting that Iowa pig farmers are cruel. My good friend, Nicole, responded to her tweet in a excellent blog post.
2. This giveaway from fellow Iowa blogger, Becky at The Dempster Logbook. I actually WON her last giveaway to Minted (affiliate link) and I wouldn’t mind winning this one, too.
3. These phyllo dough meat rolls from The Mediterranean Dish. I’ve made them twice, and am perfecting my turkey filling, and then I’ll share my version.
4. The Cozy Little House Blog: Brenda is a part of my book club, and I didn’t know anything about her blog before that. But, I LOVE her blog. She has great style – she makes old new again, and I love that about her. She is also an amazing writer.
5. Amazon Kindle Unlimited
6. This article from NPR exposing FoodBabe for who she really is.
