“Adam, tell Grandma you love her before she goes home!”
“Nooo, I wuv my baby brudder intead!”
Adam really is a great big brother. He still seems to adore Isaac, and wants to be near him all the time. He stops periodically while playing to check on Isaac, and can’t seem to get enough snuggle time with him. He brings me things when I’m nursing and helps me read to Isaac. He waited patiently for a snack while I was nursing, and finished a puzzle by himself without complaining when I had to tend to Isaac. So far, he hasn’t shown any sign of jealousy. So far.
And he’s been enjoying some special time with Daddy. Adam helped him “farm” Monday and Tuesday morning. Both Daddy and Adam are loving this!
Look at those cute work boots! This post makes me smile :)
ReplyDeleteAwwww, your little men are precious! Some kids just don't get jealous of their siblings, mine never did. When I brought my 3rd son home my middle son poked his eyes but not out of jealousy, just because he was learning all the different names for face parts:)
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome big brudder he is! Your boys will share such a special brotherly bond.
ReplyDeleteLooks like everyone is off to a great start! So glad you have a happy little helper there!
ReplyDeleteAww, that's so precious. I never had jealousy issues with our wee ones, so don't go looking! That is one lovely photo of a very protective big brother.... x
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet post. I love the matching Carhartts!
ReplyDeleteHow precious! I love the photos!
ReplyDeleteOh, that first picture is priceless!!! I love the look on Adam's face. So cute. I'm glad things are going well. My older son never did get jealous of his little brother--there were some times that he was impatient and grumpy at me, but he never took it out on the baby! Hopefully yours are the same!
ReplyDeleteohhh cute work boots and great pics!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks
Leontien
What handsome little men you have!
ReplyDeleteSo glad Adam has adjusted well - if he's ok at this point, my experience is, he'll continue to be ok!
I'm sure the Daddy time helps!
Oh, that is so, so cute! Love seeing his love for that lil brudder. How far apart are the boys?
ReplyDeleteWishing you all the best!
Aww! Love this post! So glad to hear big brother is getting along with so well with his new baby brudder!! :)
ReplyDeleteSO happy for you and your family! Congrats!! Welcome baby brudder Issac!! I still have 13 weeks to go but i'm sure it will fly by! Congrats!!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteAwww! SO cute! Look at them with the father/daddy out fits ;)
ReplyDeleteIts funny because I was jealous the second my Mom brought home Becka from the hospital. I told my Mom that grandma should take the baby and leave! But... years later, we're best friends ;P
Congrats, again!

How precious! Two adorable boys!! I remember how hard it was when my girls were that age. As hard as it is, ENJOY it. You will blink and they will be 8 and 5!!
ReplyDeleteOh, congratulations Katie, on the birth of your new little one! :) I am so happy for you! And that is SO sweet how much Adam loves his little brother, too! :) You have two adorable sons!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are doing well, and maybe getting a little sleep!?
Blessings,
Jenni
