such a gorgeous home... I love it when there is a little bit of clutter.. and lots of warmth & love... Awesome!!
ReplyDeleteHA! So much like me. We had picnic a couple weeks ago and I spent most of the week before cleaning, just in case someone needed to use the bathroom, or heaven forbid the weather didn't cooperate and we would have had to entertain indoors.
ReplyDeletelol!! So glad I'm not alone! :)
ReplyDeleteAgreeing with Jane-- glad I'm not the only one!
ReplyDeleteI have a great housekeeper. You should too! Good luck girlfriend...I have been there.
ReplyDeleteYou just made me smile:-) Time for Totes and CM boxes! My house looks exactly like that mess-wise! I have kind of given up until school starts and the girls don't have as much time to mesh things back up. However, it only seems to take them MINUTES to undo HOURS of work! UGH!
ReplyDeleteHOPE you have a great party. Let me know how it all goes!
Big smiles from me on this. I love having people over because it's the ultimate clean house motivation. Mine looks very similar right now, I should pretend I'm having a party, too. ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat am I supposed to bring to the party?
ReplyDeleteI say party on the porch!
ReplyDeletegood luck! it is summer, so no one will be using a coat closet- could you just shove it all in there? ;)
ReplyDeleteThat's one of the reasons why I like to have a party, so I HAVE to clean my house! I hope your party goes well!
ReplyDeleteHave fun at your party!
ReplyDeleteI'd feel very at home there! Too-clean houses make me nervous. :)
ReplyDeleteWas mom on vacation or something?
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear about your party!
Oh, man! I've been there, too! Good luck. Just throw everything in the closet/dishwasher/fridge and close the door.
ReplyDeleteGlad to know my house is not the only one! My sister always says there is a difference between having company and having friends over - company you have to clean for friends know how you live - so I always just consider everyone a friend!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have so been there. This is when I wish the lock on my bedroom door locked because who really needs to go in there anyway during a party and the bed is a great place to temporarily store things. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI hope everything worked out all right, and that the party was fun! I was smiling as I read this, because my house was also in chaos last Thursday night, and my son's birthday was on Friday. THANKFULLY, he had chosen to just have his best friend spend his birthday with him/us and and not have the big party I suggested! But of course, with even just one child coming to spend the night, I had to do something about the house!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are having a wonderful week so far! I just have to say again how much I love your blog! AND I love your honesty, and willingness to be real. :)
Blessings,
Jenni
Sister friend... I feel your pain!
ReplyDeleteHAHA - been there!
ReplyDeleteGood luck girl!!! There is nothing like a party to kick start the Tazmanian Devil Cleaning Machine. At least that is what I am called at my house!!!
ReplyDeleteHow did it go? I'll bet no one noticed. It's just a very lived in HOME.

Did your party totally destroy you? Just checking in on you. You've been gone a while.
