Party To-Do List – Day 2

 

Here’s what I accomplished yesterday and today:

Finish unfinished cabinet in kitchen – The upper cabinet is leaving.  The Ballard shelves will go above here.  Please ignore my junk and lack of kitchen flooring.

Attach sides  (May skip this step – gotta talk to my Dad about it.)

Get the top from the Junk Refunkery

I have no idea what to do about that top drawer – the drawer front is broken.  We have some matching drawers downstairs, but they’re 24 inches deep(ish) and these are 12(ish.)  So…jigsaw the end off one of the other shelves?  Pry the front off of this one and put a new front on it?  This is a project for my dad.img_0088img_0090I had to sand the heck out of these doors.  They are gouged from 60-70 years of wear and tear.  There are still a few minor imperfections, but oh well. :)

I’m pretty happy with my progress so far!  I may have to take a day off to get it all finished before Saturday, though.
