This happens to me all the time. Anybody else?
I’ve been loving my monochromatic, peaceful, striking black, white and tan color scheme. Really loving it.
And then I got my new Country Living Magazine. The mixture of bright colors is beautiful. I’ve loved this dining room from All Things Thrifty since it was posted. Check out these fun colors:
And this gorgeous bench:
And I’ve always loved the Daisy Cottage with her reds, greens, and yellows.
Don’t forget about Infarrantly Creative’s hutch, here. I could totally do this with mine, right? (except I’m not repainting it. Sorry.)
So…now that my party projects are over with, I think I’ll “springify” my house a little more! I’m going to shop the house (especially Adam’s room with it’s red accents) and shop my mommy’s house. And hopefully, my home will have the same cheerfulness that these three have!
Thanks for stopping by Blue Clear Sky and for your comment. Would you believe we hung those corbels for the shelves twice and have since taken them down? At first I hung the upper shelf too high, took them down, patched the holes and rehung the top row. I then decided to carry on with the main floor painting and decided to move the shelves over to the left, and make them smaller. Well, the wall is now painted, but the shelves, and everything on them, are sitting on my kitchen breakfast bar. Hopefully I can get to them this week!
ReplyDeletegreat post! ...colors have been popping into my rooms lately, too.... sooo cheerful! I am visiting by way of New friend Friday at TGC. Please accept my invitation to stop by my place at your convenience one day this week! until later...
ReplyDeleteThose are some awesome projects and I love the bright color combinations and fun fabrics as well. I'm so ready for Spring.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you found me and left a comment! I fixed it (I think). And I'm with you, I LOVE that bench at All Things Thrifty!
